Vaughaligan “Von Won” Walwyn was born in St. Croix, U.S. Virgin Islands, and raised on the southeast side of Houston, Texas. His ministry and music career have led to appearances on MTV, Daystar, and FOX News, while also impacting television and radio throughout Houston.


A former multi-sport athlete, Vaughaligan earned a full track & field scholarship to Rice University, where he became an NCAA All-American and set the U.S. Virgin Islands national record in the long jump at 26 feet, 1 inch — a record he still holds today.


With more than 25 years in music, Von Won has collaborated with Grammy Award-winning artists, and his album Grace Still Abides featuring Scarface, Bun B, and Paul Wall debuted at #26 on the Billboard Gospel charts.


Today, he pastors Space City Church, leads the Grown And Saved brand, and operates Walwyn Marketing. A devoted husband and father of four, Vaughaligan continues to inspire people worldwide through faith, leadership, and a message of hope.
